Trick or Treat

Kaden has been so excited to go trick or treating. He loves to go up to the door and knock. It is so much fun watching the kids grow up. But sad as well. Kaitlyn loved following her big brother. We got together with another couple and had dinner at a park and let the kids play for a while before going to visit some friends and trick or treating. The Romneys and Mays came along with us. We had a great time. The kids got lots of candy and where so tried they wanted to go home early. It was good so we could get home and get everyone to bed. Kaden was a lion, Kaitlyn was a puddle dog FI FI, and Kaysen was a pumpkin. He was so good just chilling going on a stroller walk, keeping warm and getting lots of rest.

Chicken and Beef

Chicken on sale and ready to can. This chicken is so good and easy to use and can. Cleaning out Freezer and getting food storage. We had beef from a cow that we got from a friend so we decided to can that as well. Wow we made beef stew and it is really good. We are having so much fun canning. It makes you feel so much better knowing that there is food on your shelf's.

PIZZA NIGHT! Kameron bought stuff at the store so we could make homemade pizza with the kids. They had so much fun. They loved eating all the toppings before we even got to start making them.

Apples! Apples! Apples!

Wow! I didn't realize how good fresh apples are. While in Idaho Kameron got a few for me cause he knows how much I love apples and the kids as well. We took a few boxes to the Johnson and started picking. Daryl, Bracken and Kameron started to pick and thought they where done until I showed up. I made them fill up a few more buckets, and Bracken thanks so much for climbing in the tree for us. That was so much fun spending time with you guys. Well the fun began when I got home. We had to pill, core, and slice the apples. Thanks heaven's for my mom and her apple slicer. It does all three at once. We made Apple Pie Filling, Apple Butter, Apple Sauce. Kameron, and the kids enjoyed canning the apples with me.

Hawaii

Wow!! What can i say, we all have a dream of going to Hawaii someday and mine came true. My family was going to Hawaii to celebrate my sister Jana's 30th birthday. Under some sad circumstances my sister was unable to go. We missed her a lot but it was the best thing for her not to go. It was so much fun. We left Kaden and Kaitlyn with Shannon at our house in Idaho. Kaysen came with us. We went to the PCC the first day we arrived and our cousin Kilee Fairbanks met us there and spent the day with us. We were able to get in the PCC and have our personal tour and first class service. Thanks so much Kilee it was a lot of fun!! We stayed that night in Ohau and then went over to Maui and spent a week there. I loved being there on the beach watching the sun go down. Wow how pretty. We also went snorkling and saw turtles, eels and lots of other fish. It was crazy to see how close the fish would swim right by you. While we were there my dad got gout in his foot and he was down most the trip but we sure did try to keep him going as much as he could. We took him on a trip to Hana and that was a day trip. We stopped at twin falls, jumped of cliffs in to 4 foot water. YES we are stupid. I only jumped once cause you hit bottom. We walked around and found Guava and the boys loved to eat it. Kameron was having lots of memories of his mission with all the fresh fruit. On our tour of Hana we stopped at the some cliffs and went cliff jumping and had a great time. We went to the Plantation and had a tour and was able to see how everything was grown. Very interesting. We went on zip lines and that was lots of fun. Wow how the days went fast and I was happy to go home to see my kids. The Johnson Family really pulled together to help us out so we could go. Shannon and her two little ones came and spent the week there. The kids loved it. All we heard about was Kisha and all the fun they had. It was fun to have a break and spend time with Kameron but it was sure nice to get back to the kids. I love them so much!!! Here are some pictures but I have a few others that I love, but my brother took the pictures and I have not got them from him yet.
