Christmas Break

Wow Christmas break when by so fast. Jamie and Keith's Family came down and Rick came with then. Shane and Kent got here a few day's before Christmas. It is so much fun having the family together. I love having Shane home and being able to go do stuff with him. We just hung out with the family at my parent house and let the kids just play and have lots of fun. We missed Jana and her family but we understand they have other obligation that they need to attend to.

Christmas Day!!

Wow the kids got up and ready to open presents. Kaden came in to wake us up. Kameron took him out to the living room to see if Santa Clause came. Wow Kaden was so happy to see the Santa Clause brought him a rocket and a bike. Kaitlyn got up and we took her to the living room also. She was so happy and jumped right behind the kitchen and started to play. She just wanted to play with that for a while. Kaysen loved rolling around and playing with the rapping paper and his new little toys he got. The kids had so much fun opening there gifts. That was the best part of Christmas for me is to see them and be so happy. After the kids opened there gifts Kameron and I opened our gifts. We both got guns. Wow they are nice and fun to shot. Kameron had to run and take care of the car wash so the kids and i ran up to my parents for Christmas with them. The kids loved it more presents. Kent got them lots of cars and rapped them in groups of 4. Kaden was so happy and Sister was having fun just opening the presents. What a Christmas. I'm so grateful for family's and for Jesus Christ and all that he went through for each one of us. We would ask Kaden who's birthday are we celebrating and he would say Jesus. It is so neat to see him start to understand things. The kids are so excited that there cousins are coming to play. They can't wait tell they get here!

Early Birthday Dinner

We went out with my parents for dinner. We went to El Paso and went shoe shopping for everyone and then we went to olive garden. Kameron got a early birthday dinner. It was so funny they came and sung happy birthday and had him wear some funny hair net and had mints on a little plate. He didn't like that part of the dinner but it was funny.

Count Down To Christmas

We have been doing a count down tell Christmas for the kids. We sat around the Christmas tree and told the story about Mary and Joseph when they had baby Jesus and set up the Nativity with them. Then another night we did a craft and made a cookie Christmas tree. Kaden loved to decorate the tree and get all dirty with mom but Kaitlyn wanted to just play with dad. Then we had the kids go shopping and get the other siblings a gift. They had so much fun shopping for each other. Kaden kept telling me Mom tell sister that i want this or that. Kaden sure had fun telling Kaitlyn what he wanted. Then we got to wrap the presents. Kaden helped wrap them all so he saw what he was getting and asks everyday can I open my present form sister. He is being good at counting down the days.

Branch Party

Wow what a lot of work. The Relief Society was in charge of the Branch Party this year. We sure had lots of fun. Mom, Mary Lou and I decided that we where going to make a quilt for every family in the branch and at the party we would do the gift exchange game and everyone could try and get the quilt they liked. It was a fun game and i think everyone really had fun getting different quilts. Davene Herrera came over friday morning to help me make all the refreshments and to let the kids play. The kids had lots of fun and also wanted to help us with the deserts. So we let them up on the table to help decorate the snowman. They all had lots of fun decorating but more fun eating the candy.

Christmas Tree

Well We decided to set up the Christmas tree! Kaden was so happy he wanted to put the tree up so he could put the train up and play with the train. So we decided that we would have them help and have fun. We put the tree up and well the tree is very top heavy. All the decorations are up on the top half. Due to a little girl. She loves to pull off the decorations.
